I am 5'9" and 165 lbs, Native American/White, male. I am in prison in Texas for driving under the influence of alcohol. I have a 40-year sentence and am waiting to see parole now. I could be home sometime in 2013 if I get lucky with parole. I am a country boy and I drive semi-trucks cross-country or turn wrenches as a mechanic when I am in the free world.
Some of my interests are country dancing, cooking, travel, fishing, country and rock music, old cars, and motorcycles. I believe in honesty and I don't need any head games.
I will correspond with anyone, any age, any gender, no matter who you are or what you look like. I try not to judge people by what is on the outside because the real person is what is in the inside. I am looking for friends right now and if it leads to more later then that's okay, too!
As I said, I am honest, so I will tell you that "Yes, I am also looking for donations and can use all the help I can get." I am looking for books, paper (writing), magazines, and any form of help that you may be able to provide. And, yes, that does include financial. I am also looking for legal help in my convictions and other areas. I will go into more details in my letters if you ask me about any of this.
I am very open and will correspond with women or men, any race. I like to write and will answer every letter if at all possible. You can send pictures as long as they are not nude. And, I love getting pictures. I need friends to help me stay in touch with the world and what is going on out there. I don't have any real family out there, so I really need friends who will listen to what I need and give me some real feedback. You can feel free to write anything you want as long as it does not involve criminal acts.
I did learn a valuable lesson coming to prison, and I know I have changed a lot. I have used my time here to earn some certificates of college and to learn how to admit I am the one to blame for my being here. All I can do is ask you to give me a chance and let's see what happens. Hope to hear from you soon!
