People often mistakenly think inmates have access to the internet. They DO NOT. Most inmates do not have access to email at all. Federal Inmates are able to correspond electronically through a website called Corrlinks.com however all other inmates still correspond through the US Postal Service or can receive messages via JPAY.

On Prison Inmates Online we do offer several ways to send messages. The free option allows you to send up to 500 character message. These messages are gathered and mailed each week. The expedited letter is $1 and is mailed through the postal service within 1 business day, usually arriving to the inmate in 3-4 days.
