Hello.
My name is Carlos Hewitt. I've been incarcerated for over a decade and, unlike my male counterparts, I've evolved a lot since my incarceration. There used to be a time that I looked for superficial things such as a face or body, but Father Time has taught me to look for qualities that won't wrinkle. Such as loyalty, honesty, and the ability to be a true friend.
I know it takes courage and you may be reluctant to write someone who has been incarcerated this long. But let me simply say, I'm not the stereotypical inmate who is incarcerated. First of all, I've completed college with a 4.0 GPA. I've completed several programs, and I'm currently teaching a stock-market class (something I've come to enjoy). This will probably affect my release date due to my rehabilitation and the eventual changing of the crack-law.
We are allowed to email at this institution, so I can also provide you with a snappy response. I'm looking for a woman who can provide me with a smile. A friend who can transcend, and surpass these fences. And most of all a person who doesn't see me as damaged goods because I'm here.
Are you truly tired of the games that several men play, who don't recognize your true self-worth? Understand that I analyze people daily and I have enough mental wealth to pay dividends -- instead of "simple pennies for your thoughts."
In the words of Shakespeare - I wear my feelings on my sleeve, so I can only hope that this brief introduction provides you with enough information about my comely spirit for us to engage in a friendship.
Thank you for your time. Sincerely yours, Carlos
