Hi! My name is Matthew. My friends call me 'Casper' because of my light complexion and friendly positive disposition. I am 5'7" tall, 132 pounds, black hair, and really pretty forest-green eyes with golden speckles. Friends tell me I am very easy-going and cheerful. I like to make people laugh and smile. I am very loyal to my friends and I feel I can never have enough.

As a prisoner, I find myself with much free time and use it to better myself for my eventual release. I hope to complete a Culinary Arts program while here as I also enjoy cooking and eating great foods. I also have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, but am contemplating to further those skills. With Culinary Arts, I might work toward a degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management.

I try and keep myself busy here and love to go outside to rec. I love to watch and play baseball and soccer. Reading great books and magazines are always a great past time. Music is another love. I listen to everything: classical to Big Band to modern Pop. Every Sunday you can find me tuned into the Top 40. Fashion is cool, and I love to follow fashion pop culture for here and Japan. I also like to read manga, biographies, detective stories, adventure and drama.

I love to correspond and am looking for others who like to write. I will be honest and answer all questions and letters. I am willing to talk about whatever piques your interests. In all subjects I will keep an open mind. My goal is to make friends I can keep in the outside world upon my release. Though I am gay, I enjoy conversation with both males and females.

I ask you to please not judge me by my conviction alone. I've made mistakes. I am human. However, I can and do strive to better myself daily, and I hope you will give me the chance to live up to my potential as the best person I can possibly be. As I said, I am willing to answer your questions honestly. I feel honesty is the key to a true friendship. If you are interested in making a true friend who will be here to listen to you for who you are, I would love to hear from you. Friendships are relationships which take time to build, and time is one thing I have plenty of to share.
