Hello,
You may think that you know me but you don’t know. You may read my charges or snippets of horrible things I’ve done. My charges, why I’m in prison, don’t define me. It’s not who I am. I’m a man, I’m human & I make mistakes like everyone else. Some of my mistakes are big, some small. My time of isolation and incarceration has shown me the errors of my thinking and my ways. I’m committed to changing myself and my future. It’s often said that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. I won’t let prison keep me down, I’ll keep pushing and grinding until I succeed in life.
Now let’s get to a little bit about me. I’m a motivated individual with a laid back lifestyle. I’m honest to a fault and this can ruffle some feathers. I don’t need all the bells & whistles in life to be happy. I love reading a good book. I’ve read over 1500 books in the past 8 ½ years. Some of my favorite authors are Brandon Sanderson, LE Modesitt Jr., Jim Butcher, and Patrick Rothfuss to name a few. One of the reasons I truly enjoy reading is because of a quote I have on my wall, “BUT be warned a book is as dangerous a journey you might take. The person who closes the back cover may not be the same one that opened the front cover.” I absolutely enjoy country music as well as alternative Christian music. I enjoy watching sports & enjoy bowling on the street-I was in a league. I also enjoy watching anime or watching mangas. I like to stay in shape (rounds a shape, right?) but I love to cook as well, especially a homemade meal for friends and family. I have two Associates degrees and a Bachelors degree. I enjoy learning and growing in knowledge.
Since covid hit I’ve realized life is too short. So I’m looking for new friendships with positive people, for friendships that can last decades.
