Three Sides to Every Story

  • An old adage claims that there are three sides to every story; your side, my side and the truth.  More and more I find myself in search of something that isn’t subjective, something that simply is and needs no elaboration or interpretation.  That thing that I spend a lot of time looking for is truth, the big truth that can’t be denied.  I believe that I’ve found it and continue to find it as I make efforts to move closer to the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Certainly there are countless opinions on Who on What He is.  That isn’t something that I have the time or means to address at present (although I do hope to soon be able to post a book that I’ve authored that relates to that).  Again there are many that would say that this is just another form of subjectivity and they are well with their rights to say so, especially since we all relate to God differently.

Any who have made frequent visits to this, my pen pal webpage, may have noticed that I’ve made a few changes recently.  This is in an ongoing attempt to more accurately reflect the truth of my beliefs and personality, to be more genuine in my image.  That is also a means of making myself more available to the Spirit of Truth by being more honest.

It has been said that it is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.  I’ve experienced both sides of that and I agree with that saying.

May honesty bring all of us closer to each other and closer to Him Who is without deception.
