  • “Will You Share My Tears”

They say a man isn’t supposed to cry,

But sometimes this pain is hard to hold inside.

    Will you share my tears?

When the weight of the world becomes too much to bear,

Can I count on you to be there?

    Will you share my tears?

When I make a mistake, will you count me out?

Or will you love me despite my flaws?

    Will you share my tears?

Can I cry on your shoulders, will you help ease my pain?

Or will you make it hurt worse, only rubbing it in?

    Will you share my tears?

When my heart is heavy from the trials of life,

Will you stand by my side, helping to ease my strife?

    Will you share my tears?

Do I have to feel ashamed?  Can I let my tears out?

Will you share in my pain or only walk out?

If I should shed a tear, will you cry as well?

    I guess what I’m asking is –

    Will you share my tears?
