I am INNOCENT – and I need your help!
My name is Scott Zirus. I am an Australian wrongfully convicted by Texas. Its incredibly difficult being so far from home. I never once imagined I’d be incarcerated in a foreign prison for something I didn’t do. I always thought that if you did nothing wrong you could never get in trouble – unfortunately I found out how wrong I was the hard way.
In 2009 I came to the US as a camp counselor. As the preamble for the series of multi-million dollar lawsuits, I was falsely accused of the crime I’m incarcerated for.
There is no doubt that my wrongful conviction has proven to be the most defining chapter of my life. Over the past few years I have uncovered compelling evidence of my innocence – an unsolicited recantation, a $9.2 million motive, another foreign counselor being falsely accused – and more.
Those responsible for my conviction are afraid that if I’m given a public voice I’ll prove my innocence. So they do everything in their power to discredit or silence me. But as my favorite US Founding Father, john Adams, said: “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, out inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence” – This is why I’ve recently published a FREE EBook called “Guilty Until Proven innocent” which exposes the truth behind my innocence, and explores the phenomenon responsible for the systematic convictions of thousands of innocent people in the US.
