Blog 6-24-17

  • Hey, it’s been sometime since my last blog and I realize that some of you feel a “ways” about it.  I just ask that you could forgive. Smile I am aware that empathy isn’t for the faint of heart, so I am only asking you…who have a strong heart.

Puppies or kittens, which would you prefer?  I like little wet noses and playful paws, either or I am at ease…I am at home.

So, about a month ago I heard a song by the artist “The Weekend,” and part of the chorus caught my ear.  Permite, could I ask you something?  Are tears in the rain pointless?  And don’t play it off like you’ve never had your heart broken…your not alone; everybody’s felt it once.  Anyway, I say that to call “it pointless” is to invalidate the girl’s or the guy’s pain.  Or to say “you’re wrong” for shedding tears of joy in one of the world’s most unequaled elements.  I won’t do that…call that gesture pointless.

    Anyhow parting words:

To watch thy wantonness weeping through

The tangled grove, the gnarled bole

Of the living tree that is spirit and soul

I am thy mate, I am thy man

Goat of thy flock, I am gold, I am god

With hoofs of steel I race and I rip and I rend

                Everlasting, world without end…
